The UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority warn that fraud is spreading among residents through social media posts. Some people will send you an SMS with a link pretending to be an order from Amazon. The link recipients are then required to fill in their personal ID information. A message on the screen informs the viewers, "Do not enter your personal information via SMS links. Be sure to open the Amazon app or website."
