A court has sentenced a three-member Asian gang to five years in prison for abducting the girl, holding her captive in a villa for three days and assaulting her. And followed by court sentenced to deportation after completion of 5 years imprisonment and fined 170,000 Dirhams together.

The court's verdict came after a year of completion of the investigation into the incident which took place in July 2021. The accused lured a girl of their nationality through a social networking program and lured them into their trap. According to the victim's statement, she was invited to attend a party held by members of her community in Dubai. The complainant, who left in the vehicle of one of the accused, was arrested. They then took her to a villa in Jebel Ali, where they stole Dirhams 5,000 and took her mobile phone. They also transferred Dirhams 165,000 from her bank account to theirs, she continued to be attacked and depicted in immoral situations. The victim also stated that the gangsters contacted her family back home through a messaging app to receive money by sending her photos and a video clip of the attack on her. She escaped after three days of detention.
